OUR BIG TRIP

MARY & OLI GOING AROUND AUSTRALIA
PERTH - Page 3

29 September 2007, Saturday

Continuation of the Jeep Muster story...
Most of the tracks are
nicely rutted, more than
what you see here in
those two pictures.
Steve fell into the ruts twice and we had to rescue him a little. The second one was quite on the edge and the car could
have easily rolled on its side. The position I am in on the left looks quite awkward - just adding a little force while he was
driving slowly forward.
Nice mountain scenery
and lots of wildflowers
around. Sorry but we
did have to take some
non-Jeep photos.
Widodo taking off in his modified ZJ Grand Cherokee.
Nicely lifted and 33's on it. Here is the "before" picture -
Why? you will see later.
Rodge going with the Gang in the afternoon.
The TONKA toy - a lifted Toyota Cruiser Ute. Could not
do anything the next day so.
One of the other trips during the day. Mike being
bogged at the pipeline.
Brian in his CJ stucked at the pipeline.
Mike going over the pipeline. Nice flex.
Our hardcore boys - Aaron going hard after he finally
put the D44 in the front. All of them run twin lockers and
35's Simex Centipede - those cars go very hard - too
hard for my little TJ.
And here we go Widodo on the side! - he he he. He
tried a new line - oops and the car just fell on its side.
Funny that the mirrors actually got into the mud and
was not damaged compared to all side panels.
